ABOUT

Kanye's world

Kanye Omari West was born June 8th, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents Donna and Ray West were divorced soon after he was born. Kanye then moved to Chicago, Illinois with his mother, but still went to visit his father who had moved to Maryland. As Kanye got older he was enrolled in the American Academy of Arts school but soon dropped out to become a music producer. With the hopes and dreams of becoming a solo artist, in 2004 he released his very first album called, "The College Dropout". He then went on to further his career and continued throughout the years making more albums; Late Registration(2005), Graduation(2007), 808's & Heartbeat(2008), My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy(2010), Watch the Throne(2011), Yeezus(2013), and finally his seventh and latest, The Life of Pablo(2016). Shortly after the making of his third album, "Graduation", his mother Donna West passed away due to complications from cosmetic surgery. A few years later he would meet and then marry his best friend. In 2014 he married Kim Kardashian, and they now have three kids, North(2013), Saint(2015), and Chicago(2018).

Yeezus is Jesus

Kanye West grew up knowing nothing but Christianity, he wasn't given the choice like we are today. If his parents were a certain religion that was the one he followed. In an interview he tells the reporter, "I feel like religion is more about separation and judgment than bringing people together and understanding. That’s all I’m about. I’m about accepting people for who they are. Live and let live".[internet source #5]. He didn't like growing up not being able to choose what he believes in, which is now why he chooses to do what he wants to do. He doesn't like to be apart of a specific religion, he feels that Jesus shouldn't be responsible for your life, that you should be responsible for your own life. People always think when something goes wrong that Jesus can fix it, that when we die there will be a heaven and that you will one day again see someone you lost, which is entirely fine if that is what you believe in. Kanye believes that people believe in these things because they need comfort, comfort in the fact they know either alive or dead they will be safe. Kanye tells the reporter, "The whole thing about religion, other people’s religion and other things that they shell out, I have my own opinion on everything. Anything that I take, I’m going to do it my way".[internet source #5]. Which brings me to Yeezianity, "A forward-minded group who believes that the one who calls himself Yeezus is the highest living human being and he will help to usher in a New Age of humanity".[internet source #3]. They believe in the same thing that Kanye believes in, that they are entitled to their own opinion but they still except others no matter what their religion, or who they are. That you are not put on this world to judge, you should just be responsible for your action only, and not what others think or do.
